Hector Trombley

Background

Hector Trombley is on the faculty of the Department of Mathematics and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield. Before Porter, Hector worked as an operations-research analyst.

Hector's research focuses on probability and stochastic processes, with related work in statistics; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching

Hector regularly teaches courses in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.
