Rosa Escobar

Background

Rosa Escobar is on the faculty of the Department of Mathematics and holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. Before Porter, Rosa taught developmental and college mathematics at a community college.

Rosa's research focuses on mathematical modeling, with related work in dynamical systems; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching

Rosa regularly teaches courses in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.
