Background
Devon Osei is on the faculty of the Department of Marketing & Supply Chain and holds a master’s degree from the University of Colorado, along with professional licensure and industry certifications. Before Porter, Devon held an operations role in a hotel group.
Devon brings that practice into the classroom, teaching from real cases and current standards in brand management and procurement and sourcing.
Areas of expertise
- Brand management
- Procurement and sourcing
- Applied practice and industry partnerships
Teaching
Devon regularly teaches courses in Marketing & Digital Communication, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.
Class time is built around cases and real deliverables. Students work to professional standards, present to a critique or a client-style panel, and revise. Devon keeps the connection to current practice explicit.
Advising and office hours
Devon advises students in the Marketing & Supply Chain programs and holds weekly office hours during the fall and spring terms, posted on the office door and in the course pages. Prospective students are welcome to email to arrange a visit or a call.
Advising conversations usually cover course sequencing, whether to add a minor or a concentration, and how classroom work connects to internships, research, or graduate study. Students who are undecided are welcome; part of the job is helping them narrow things down.
Recent and representative work
Devon stays active in practice alongside teaching, through consulting, standards work, and applied projects in brand management and procurement and sourcing. Representative items:
- An applied project in brand management with an industry or community partner.
- A workshop or short course on procurement and sourcing for practitioners in the region.
- Service on a standards, licensing, or advisory body related to brand management.
Titles and venues here are illustrative. UW–Porter Falls is fictional; Devon has no real publication record.

Fictional information
UW–Porter Falls is a work of parody. Devon Osei is not a real person; this profile, the degree, the email address and the background are all invented.
