Ibrahim Nakamura

Background

Ibrahim Nakamura is on the faculty of the Department of Management and holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Before Porter, Ibrahim held an HR leadership role.

Ibrahim's work centers on teaching and curriculum in entrepreneurship and new ventures and human resource management, including course redesign and mentoring newer instructors.

Teaching

Ibrahim regularly teaches courses in Business Administration, Leadership Studies, Entrepreneurship. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.

Ibrahim designs courses around clear, visible learning outcomes, frequent retrieval practice, and prompt feedback, and revises the sequence each year based on where students actually get stuck.
