Priscilla Devereaux

Background

Priscilla Devereaux is on the faculty of the Department of Management and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska. Before Porter, Priscilla led operations for a mid-market manufacturer.

Priscilla's research focuses on operations management, with related work in business analytics; undergraduates are involved in the lab most terms.

Teaching

Priscilla regularly teaches courses in Business Administration, Leadership Studies, Entrepreneurship. Specific sections and syllabi are listed in the class schedule each term.

Courses lean on current problems from the field: students read recent work, reproduce a result or method, and then extend it. Priscilla builds in low-stakes practice before graded work and gives written feedback on drafts.
